Community Action is currently looking for a Youth Homeless Demonstration Program Coach/Navigator to provide education, information, trauma-informed, strengths-based coaching and navigation to youth participants.
Starting Pay: $21.60/hour
The Role:
Maintain collaborative relationships with community partners
Collaboratively work with The HUB to assist youth participants in their search for housing and work to build strong relationships with landlords in the community to form collaborative partnerships for housing participants;
Research and maintain current information regarding landlord and tenant issues, update educational materials as needed;
Participate in the Lincoln RentWise Coalition and conduct RentWise workshops and training;
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in human services or related field required.
Two years relevant work experience required.
Training or experience with legal terminology, statutory language, landlord/tenant laws, government and community resources; housing counseling; housing budgeting.
Must have knowledge of community resources.
